A Complete Map of Los Angeles Area and Guide to Olympic Games. | The Tenth Olympic Games Los Angeles, California, July 30 - Aug. 14 '32. Designed and Illustrated by Mary Hall Atwood. A Complete Map of Los Angeles Area and Guide to Olympic Games. | Mary Atwood was a mural and map-making specialist who also did illustration and fine art paintingand was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was a pupil of Robert-Fleury and Jean Francois Millet at the Academie Julian in Paris, and in the 1930s moved to Los Angeles where she lived until her death in Glendale. She earned a reputation for the many decorative maps she did of Southern California, and her maps including Death Valley are in numerous public buildings.

We print high quality reproductions of historical maps, photographs, prints, etc. Because of their historical nature, some of these images may show signs of wear and tear - small rips, stains, creases, etc. We believe that in many cases this contributes to the historical character of the item.
